Besides that, you have to perform well in matters to do with setting goals. Your employees need to be in the loop when it comes to setting goals. The goals will not just give the employees direction as well as purpose but even ensure that everyone is working towards achieving the same thing. You won’t be able to achieve the outcome you wanted if employees are not aware of the goals they are striving towards which is something you have to highly consider. When setting the goals, make sure they are not only specific but also measurable. You also want to keep monitoring the progress of the employees when it comes to achieving the goals that they have set. Another trait of a good manager is communication. A lot of bosses neglect communication in their daily lives. They are always busy with one thing or the other. No matter how busy you are, you have to create time to update the workers on what is happening in the organization.
When creating your calendar, you have to remember how important it is to include your workers as well. Leadership has to involve the people you are leading. If an employee has requested to talk to you, do not forget to make the time for that. Also, it is not motivating to be fiddling with your phone when someone is talking to you. It is also crucial for you to recognize achievements. Letting people know that you can see how great their work has been will encourage them to even do better. Even recognizing them verbally will be a great.
